Since many of the Pan Am trains are too long for the Fairgrounds siding, it is common for Eastbound trains to stop at Adams Street, the first railroad crossing in the Auburn city limits. This makes it a good place to get eastbound pictures. It's named Albiston Way, but Pan Am uses the older name of Adams Street. It's at 44°05'15.8"N 70°13'50.5"W mp 162.37.
